Glamour photography encompasses a range of genres as they are called.  Fashion, swimwear, lingerie, topless and nude can all be categorised as glamour. So long as there is a look or pose making the photograph pertaining to sexy it can be classified as glamour.

Glamour photos are mostly portrait not landscape in shape and there is a diagonal placement of the model.  Here the complimentary colours blue (use of polariser for the sky) and orange (T shirt) on the colour wheel have been deliberately chosen for added impact.

Models and photographers clarify and agree beforehand as to what is expected of a shoot when it comes to glamour just as in boudoir which is very similar.
